Counselling and Coaching for Young People and Adults
I offer counselling and coaching for young people (9–25 years) and adults, to build the capacity to meet life as it is while staying connected to what matters to them. The work is collaborative and tailored, grounded in the belief that people already have strengths that can be developed and supported.
My approach is person-centred, drawing on Japanese Psychology (Morita Therapy), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and evidence-based behaviour change. Together, we focus on strengthening emotional and thinking skills, increasing steadiness under stress, and gently reconnecting with values, direction, and priorities in everyday life.
Sessions are person-centred and practical, creating space to understand what’s going on while also supporting growth and resilience over time. Where helpful, we may also explore how sleep, movement, breathing, and daily routines influence mood, attention, and wellbeing.
Life can be challenging and unpredictable. With the right support, it’s possible to build the capacity to live with more clarity, connection, and meaning.
Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space lies our freedom and power to choose our response.
